Connect Pinterest to AI Agents

Connect Pinterest and ask about ad performance, audiences and conversions, or your boards and pins, in plain English. It's the one connector here spanning paid and organic in a single connection.

What you'll need

  • A Pinterest account, with an ads account set up if you want ad reporting or management.
  • Boards and pins operations always work against whichever Pinterest profile you sign in with, separate from whichever ad account you pick below.

Pinterest connects through its own OAuth sign-in.

Connect it

Open Connectors
In your SourcetoMCP dashboard, go to Connectors and choose Add Connection, then Pinterest.
Sign in with Pinterest
Grant SourcetoMCP access on Pinterest's own consent screen.
Pick an ad account
Choose the ad account you want to query or manage. Board and pin operations aren't affected by this choice, they always use your connected profile.
Confirm
The connection shows up as Connected in your Connectors table.

Writes are real: creating or updating campaigns, and creating, updating or deleting boards and pins. New campaigns start paused, nothing spends until you say so, but board and pin deletion is immediate and permanent.

Troubleshooting

SymptomLikely fix
No ad accounts listedThe Pinterest account you signed in with has no ads account set up yet. Boards and pins still work without one.
Boards and pins show the wrong profile's contentReconnect with the Pinterest account whose boards and pins you actually want, organic operations follow the signed-in profile, not the selected ad account.
Secret boards or pins don't appearReconnect. An older connection may have been authorised before secret-board access was requested.

Board and pin operations are grounded in Pinterest's own API reference but have not yet been run against a live account.
